We couldn’t have been more excited about this find. Before this dive Alex jokingly declared that whoever saw the octopus during this dive would get to choose the pizza. I rolled my eyes thinking that seeing 4 Caribbean reef squid during the last dive was already more luck than I thought we would have. When Alex pointed out this octopus to me, my jaw dropped and my regulator nearly dropped out of my mouth! We had lionfish pizza that night.

I find it very difficult to distinguish the Rock Hind from the Graysby.  The Graysby has dark/pale spots along the base of the dorsal fin and has a rounder tail than the Rock Hind.
